Who I am

Izzy's Groom Room is a dog and cat grooming salon run by Izzy at Tarry Wood, Park Wood Lane, Little Totham, Maldon, Essex CM9 8LE. I am responsible for the personal information you share with me. You can contact me about anything in this policy by calling 07415 499269, messaging me on Instagram or Facebook, or writing to the address above.

What information I collect

Enquiries: when you use the form on this website I receive your name, phone number, email address (if given), your pet's name and breed, the service you're interested in and your message.
Bookings: when you become a client I keep your contact details, your pet's details, appointment history and grooming notes, which can include information about your pet's health, behaviour or coat that I need to groom them safely.
Messages and calls: if you contact me by phone, text, Instagram or Facebook, I'll see the details you share there.

How I use it

To reply to your enquiry and book appointments
To groom your pet safely and keep records of previous grooms
To send appointment reminders and let you know when your pet is ready
To keep business records for insurance, accounting and legal reasons

I only use your information for these purposes: to provide the service you've asked for, because I have a legitimate interest in running my business safely, or because the law requires me to. I will never sell your information or pass it to anyone for marketing.

Who else handles your information

Formspree delivers messages from the enquiry form to me. Formspree is based in the United States and protects data it transfers with appropriate safeguards.
PawSuite is the booking system behind my client portal, where client and appointment details are stored.
Meta (Instagram and Facebook) if you choose to message me there.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept while you're a client and for up to 6 years afterwards for insurance and accounting purposes, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to see the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Just get in touch using the details above. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

This website doesn't use any cookies of its own, and there's no tracking or advertising. The fonts and images are all hosted on this website.
